CALL FORWARDING
The Call Forwarding feature redirects visitor calls to an outside telephone number instead of ringing the
house. The forwarding number is a regular phone number of up to 11 digits in length. You may also
attach one of the following features to a forwarding number:
•
an extension of an automated switchboard, or
•
an extension (up to 6 digits) that the visitor can dial from the unit’s keypad.
A. SETTING THE CALL FORWARDING NUMBER (STEP 14)
Program the telephone number to which the Crown Jewel should forward calls.
NOTE:
to program an
extension, see Section D.
Format
14 + telephone “#”
•
The telephone number can be up to 11 digits long.
Example
14 + 5 #
(sets the Call Forwarding number to 555-1212).
NOTE
During a Call Forwarding call, the
visitor will hear normal telephone line sounds but will not
hear the number being dialed.
B. ENABLING/DISABLING CALL FORWARDING (STEP 13)
You can program the Crown Jewel to forward calls; to stop forwarding calls; or to forward calls
according to the Scheduled Call Forwarding feature (see Section G).
NOTE:
To use Call Forwarding or Scheduled Call Forwarding, you must program a call forwarding
telephone number (see Section B).
Factory Setting:
0 (disabled).
Format
13 + Call Forwarding mode + “#”

The Call Forwarding mode is one digit long:
0 = Disable Call Forwarding
1 = Enable Call Forwarding
2 = Enable Scheduled Call Forwarding
Example
13 + 1 + #
(enables the Call Forwarding feature)
C. DELETING THE CALL FORWARDING NUMBER (STEP 14)
Delete the Call Forwarding telephone number.
Format
14 + 00 + “#”
Example
14 + 00 + #
(deletes the Call Forwarding telephone number).
