Factory Reset procedure

INFORMATION!
If the screen displays “
Wait for connection....
” or “
Wait for enrolement...
”
message, it is necessary to verify that:
1. the LAN network cable is connected and is working (otherwise the screen displays the
Disconnected cable
icon);
2. the Call Agent is reachable, otherwise verify that the IP address of the system is the same
configured in the telephone;
3. the MAC Address of the telephone is configured correctly in the system where it is connected to;
4. the telephone model configured in the system is the same as the telephone model connected.
If the screen displays “
Waiting for DHCP....
” the telephone does not receive the addresses from DHCP
server.
9.4. Factory Reset procedure
The procedure allows you to reload the factory settings and deleting all stored customized data.
To perform the Factory Reset sequence press "Menu" key followed by "# # # # * " code.
After pressing the first button of the code, a timer of 1.5 seconds starts, within which must be pressed
otherwise the next key sequence will be canceled.
To make a simple restart of the unit without loss of data, perform the following sequence:
- Restart NETfon (telephone base): "Menu" + "# * * * *"
- Restart DSS (DSS module): "Menu" + "# * # * #" (where applicable).
Backup Call Agent
IP Address of Backup Call Agent that the telephone tries to reach if it
cannot connect the Main Call Agent, after some attempts. If the
Backup Call Agent doesn’t answer, the telephone tries to connect the
Main Call Agent again and so on.
Display connection
It displays, on the second row of the phone screen, the connection of
the telephone that can be MAIN (connected to Main Call Agent) or
BACKUP (connected to Backup Call Agent )
Key Labels
Depending on the version of SAMIP system the phone is
connected to
,
it is possible to locally customize the function key
labels already configured from SAMBuilder. In this case, please note
that only the buttons with three dashes ("[1]: ---") can be customized.
Rtp statistics
Depending on the version of SAMIP system the phone is
connected to
,
the service is automatically activated and the errors of
RTP streamings are counted, you can set the error threshold (0% -
3%, 3% default) and the check interval (0-60 sec., default 10 sec.)
beyond which traps are sent to the Management Center and
displayed here as events.
