– MACCHIA – Hot chocolate dispenser

23

To adjust the set values follow these steps:

Press  the TEMPERATURE  button  (C);  the

value  of  the  tank  temperature  will  start  to

flash, indicating  that  it can  be modified  via

buttons  (D)  +  to  increment  the  value  and

(E) - to lower the set value.

Note

It  is  suggested  to  set  the  value  of  the  tank
temperature  depending  on  the  product  being
processed, with reference to the following table:

Chocolate

Dark

Milk

White

T. vasca

(Tank temperature)

45°C

42°C

40°C

    Warning

The  temperatures  shown  in  the  table  are  only
indicative;

variation

may

be

necessary

depending on the product used

Once the  product  in the tank has reached a
certain  fluidity  and  the  temperatures  have
reached  the  set  values,  an  acoustic  alarm
will  sound  indicating  that  the  MIXER  (G)
button can be pressed.

Once  the  mixer  is  started  the  red  LED  associated
with  the  button  will  light  up.  The  anticlockwise
rotation of the blades inside the tank will initialise the
flow of the product which will shortly start to flow out
of the dispenser.

The  rotation  of  the  mixer  can  be  force
started by pressing the RESET (B) button.

This forced start of the rotation will be signalled by a
long acoustic signal.

If  the  density  of  the  product  subjects  the  motor  to
elevated  strains,  the  electronic  thermal  protection
mechanism  kicks  into  action  to  protect  the  integrity
of the machine.

During  normal  use  of  the  machine  the  pressing  of
the  pedal  halts  the  flow  of  product  and  stops  the
rotation  of  the  motor;  upon  releasing  the  pedal  the
machine restarts its normal function.

The DISPENSER button (F) allows the user
to  access  pre-set  dispensing  amounts  while
the machine is functioning normally.

The  activation  of  this  function  will  be  signaled  by  a
short  acoustic  sound  and  the  lighting  of  the  LED
associated  with  this  button.  If  the  button  is  pressed
again this function will be de-activated.

When the DISPENSER function is active the dysplay
will show the following text:

T  .  V  A  S  C  A                3  0  .  0    C
T  .  T  E  R  M  I  N  A  L  E        3  0  .  0    C

A  G  I  T  A  T  O  R  E
O  N        1  .  8  5      O  F  F      2  .  0  0

In  this  mode  the  continuous  pressing  of  the
dispenser  pedal  will  cause  the  flow  of
chocolate to be  halted by the time indicated
by  the  OFF  parameter.  After  this  time  has
elapsed the flow will restart and the emission
of  the  chocolate  will  continue  for  the  time
indicated by the ON parameter and will then
stop  again.  This  emission  routine  will
continue  periodically  until  the  pedal  is
released.

To modify the emission times follow these steps:

Press  the  DISPENSER  button  (F)  for  about
three  seconds;  this  allows  for  the  changing
of  the  ON  emission  time. The  time  will  start
to  flash  and  it  can  be  modified  via  buttons
(D)  +  to  increase  the  set  time  and  (E)  -  to
lower the set time.

Pressing  the  DISPENSER  button  (F)  once
more  will  allow  the  user  to  change  the  OFF
time  between  emissions  via  the  same  (D)
and (E) buttons.
