Remove clevis pin and split pin from motor
unit and slide the motor unit over the swivel.
Protect the motor unit by working on a clean
and soft surface.

Fit clevis pin and split pin.
Note that motor unit can be turned 90°
depending on the direction of the forestay
fitting in the boat.
Fit the toggle and optional extension link.
6.
The Furlex system can now be attached
to the boat, by following the instructions in
chapter 16 “Rigging”, in manual 595-104.
Use only Furlex Electric torque toggle
and optional extension link.
