roubleshooting

Clearing Paper Jam

Clear paper jams as follows according to a guidance message dis-

played on the LCD.

A guidance message appears on the LCD.

Open the lever and rear cover.

Remove the jammed paper, check there is no obstacles

in the carriage path and the paper transporting path, and

close the rear cover. If the paper holding parts are put

out of joint, joint those again to avoid malfunction. (The

paper holding parts can be fit manually.)

The carriage will move to its home position.

Set the paper according to the Installing Paper Roll on

the Printer and Removing it from the Printer. (See page

2-11)
