<How to decide a correction value>

(1)

Head position adjustment correction value

•

Observe the H  POS ADJ pattern with a loupe and decide a cor-

rection value to match the reference color (BK) and color to be

adjusted.

•

A unit of correction value is 1/8 dot  (720doi) and a range of

correction is -256 to +255.  A correction value of plus (+) ap-

proaches a color to be adjusted to the home position and a cor-

rection value of minus (-) keeps away a color to be adjusted from

the home position.

Ink position adjustment correction value

•

Observe INK  POS ADJ pattern with a loupe and decide a cor-

rection value to match the reference line of outward journey (left

line) and home ward journey (right line).

•

A unit of correction value is 1/8 dot (720doi)and a range of cor-

rection is -256 to +255.   A correction value of plus (+) approaches

a color to be adjusted to the home position and a correction value

of minus (-) keeps away a color to be adjusted from the home

position.
