Section 3 Menu Operations (SCSI controller)
ADJUST Menu
This menu is used to set mechanical adjustment parameters.
When the
key is pressed, mechanical adjustment parameters
can be set.
If parameters are changed, they are saved automatically.
(1) Adjustment pattern print (ADJUST PATTERN)
Print a test pattern used for mechanical adjustment.
<Parameter (Enter a choice.)>
- NOZZLE CHK
: Prints a nozzle adjustment pattern.
- FEED ADJ
: Prints a paper feed adjustment pattern.
- HEAD ADJ
: Prints a head adjustment pattern.
- HS NOZZLE CHK : Prints a nozzle adjustment pattern at high
speed print mode. (*)
- HS HEAD ADJ
: Prints a head adjustment pattern at high
speed print mode. (*)
Press key during printing to stop the printing.
(This function is effective after using IP-4500/4100 MKII engine-
SCSI firmware version 5.00.)

(2) Paper feed adjustment pattern (FEED PATTERN)
Print a test pattern used for mechanical adjustment.
<Parameter (Enter a choice.)>
- ROUGH1 : Prints a paper feed adjustment pattern used for
getting a correction value roughly for an unknown paper.
- ROUGH2 : Prints a paper feed adjustment pattern used for
getting a more accurate correction value than
correction value get in ROUGH1.
