Fascia Removal and Installation
To remove front fascia:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. Use 4mm hex wrench to remove (4)
fasteners from front fascia. See Figure 6 ‐ 1 .

3. Remove fascia and clean all debris from
mounting surfaces.
To remove rear fascia:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. Use 4mm hex wrench to remove (4)
fasteners from rear fascia. See Figure 6 ‐ 2 .

3. Remove fascia and clean all debris from
mounting surfaces.
To install front fascia:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. With fender (model i2 only) and tire/wheel
assembly off, align front fascia tabs with
holes beneath pivot base hub, and be sure
they are free of debris and properly seated
before threading fasteners. See Figure 6 ‐ 1 .
TABS ARE DELICATE AND CAN BREAK EASILY IF
NOT PROPERLY ALIGNED INTO PIVOT BASE
HOLES.
3. Thread (4) 4mm fasteners (20554 ‐ 00001) into
fascia.
4. Using 4mm torque wrench, drive fasteners
and torque to 1.5 N ‐ m.
To install rear fascia:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. Thread (4) 4mm fasteners (20554 ‐ 00001) into
fascia. See Figure 6 ‐ 2 .
3. Using 4mm torque wrench, drive fasteners
and torque to 1.5 N ‐ m.
After installing fascia:
1. (Model i2 only) Install fender ( page 5 ‐ 3 ).
2. (Model x2 only) Install both fender
( page 5 ‐ 4 ) and frame assemblies, each as a
unit ( page 5 ‐ 5 ).
3. Install tire/wheel assembly:

Model i2 ( page 4 ‐ 3 )
•
Model x2 ( page 4 ‐ 4 )
•
Model x2 Turf ( page 4 ‐ 5 )
4. Perform post ‐ service tests ( page A ‐ 1 ).
