4.7.4  Floppy Disk Controller Enabling 

If  LPT  interface  has to  be  used  in  Floppy  Disk mode,  please follow  these  instructions  to  be  sure 
that the Internal FDC is correctly enabled: 

A)  In  BASIC  CMOS  configuration,  please  check  that  Floppy  drive  field  is  set  to  1.44MB,  3.5” 
(standard). 

B) Set menu item “Parallel connected to” (par. 4.5.8) to FDC 

C) Set menu item FDC Controller (par. 4.5.7

) to “Enabled”. 

D) Check, in all IRQ assignment menu items, that IRQ line 6 is free and not assigned 

By following these instructions FDC interface will be correctly configured and working.
