Please notice that SATA channels have the following relation to IDE0 channel in BIOS setup:
SATA0 channel is identified by IDE0 Slave in BIOS Setup menu.
SATA1 channel is identified by IDE0 Master in BIOS Setup menu.
4.3.17 Internal video boot on
This option allows choosing which will be the default video output at system boot. Possible choices
are:
CRT only;
TV only;
CRT + TV;
LFP only;
CRT + LFP
TV + LFP;
CRT+TV+LF;
Default
Note: LFP means Local Flat Panel (LVDS interface), and is the LVDS interface directly managed
by Northbridge.
4.3.18 Boot video first from
This item allows selecting which device must perform first the video boot up sequence.
Possible choices are:
PCIe (PCI Express x1);
PCI;
IGD (Internal Graphics Display).
4.3.19 USB Keyboard after boot
During the boot, USB keyboard is always enabled. After this phase, the status of USB keyboard
will depend from the settings of this menu item.
4.3.20 Hyper-Threading
This item allows enabling or disabling HyperThreading capabilities of Intel
®
Atom
™
N270 CPU.
4.3.21 PCI Latency
This item has to be set to determine how long a PCI device can hold the PCI bus.
It can be set to 32 or 64 (cycles), that means that each PCI device must complete the transaction
within 32 (64) clock cycles, otherwise must release the bus to other PCI devices.
4.3.22 Console redir. baud rate
Use this option to select the baud rate of COM port used. It can have a value of 115200 bps,
57600 bps, 38400 bps, 19200 bps or 9600bps.
NOTE about Console redirection:
The video output redirected on COM port can be read using programs like HyperTerminal or Putty,
by using the same Serial Port set with option “Console redir. port”, and setting it with the following
parameters:
115200bps (it must be equal to the
baudrate set with “Console redir. baud rate” option), 8bit, No
Parity, 1 bit stop, No Flow Control.
In case the character set is not visualised correctly, it is necessary:

on HyperTerminal, in ASCII setup tab, please deselect “Wrap Lines that exceed terminal width”
option;
-
On Putty, set the “Character set translation on received data” to CP437.
