4.6.5  Enhanced C-State support 

Enhanced  C-States  are  idle  states  for  the  CPU,  in  which  more  parts  of  the  CPU  are  temporarily 
disabled  than  in  normal  C-State.  This  way,  these  enhanced  C-state  allow  a  more  significant 
reduction of power consumption. 

4.6.6  Maximum C-State allowed 

This  option  allows  selecting  which  is  the  deepest  sleep  state  (C-State)  that  the  CPU  can  reach. 
Possible values are C1, C2, C3 or C4. 

4.6.7  T-State support 

This option allows enabling or disabling 

CPU’s Intel T-States management. 

4.6.8  ACPI S4/S5 Shutdown 

This  menu  item  allows  enabling  or  disabling  S4  and  S5  states  management  by  the  O.S.;  this  is 
particularly useful in systems powered in AT mode, to prevent the O.S. to shutdown automatically 
the voltage rails without advising the user.
