Introduction
Due to changes to settings, the display content may vary and some aspects
of the unit's operation may differ from the descriptions given in this man-
ual.

Note
Lightly pressing the buttons or briefly pressing the touchscreen is sufficient
to operate the unit.
Note
After you make entries, the radio-navigation system may need a few sec-
onds for processing and may not respond to operation of controls. Never-
theless, do not continue to operate the unit, because operating sequences
that have been input are “memorised” and “processed” in succession once
the background processes have been completed.
Note
Not all listed function buttons and functions may be available due to the de-
vice software used in your market. The equipment is not faulty if a function
button is missing from the screen.
Note
Due to country-specific legislation, certain functions cannot be selected on
the screen when the vehicle is travelling above a certain speed.
Note
Using a mobile telephone in the vehicle may cause noise from the vehicle
loudspeakers.
Note
In some vehicles equipped with a parking distance warning system, the vol-
ume of the current audio source is automatically lowered when reverse gear
is engaged.
Switching on and off
●
To switch the unit on or off manually, briefly press the rotary/push knob
⇒

.
When the unit is switched on, the system starts up and the audio source
last played will be activated.
Depending on the unit version and the country, the unit may be switched off
automatically when the engine is switched off or the vehicle key is removed
from the ignition lock. If the unit is switched on again, it will be switched off
automatically after approximately 30 minutes (switch-off delay).
Anti-theft coding
Once the anti-theft code has been entered for the first time, it remains stor-
ed in the vehicle (convenience radio coding). If the anti-theft code has to be
removed manually, e.g. because the unit has been installed in another vehi-
cle, please contact a SEAT dealership.
If only the vehicle battery has been disconnected, switch the ignition on be-
fore switching on the unit again.
