External audio source on AUX-IN multimedia socket

Depending on the level of vehicle equipment, there is an AUX-IN multimedia
socket in the stowage compartment on the front passenger side, in the cen-
tre console, or in the armrest between the two front seats.
The AUX-IN multimedia socket can only be used with a 3.5 mm jack plug.
Audio sources connected via AUX cannot be controlled via the radio-naviga-
tion system. Playback is started, controlled and stopped via the external au-
dio source.
Connecting an external audio source to the AUX-IN multimedia socket
● Lower the base volume on the radio-navigation system.
● Connect the external audio source to the AUX-IN multimedia socket.
● Start playback on the external audio source.
● If required, activate the AUX-IN multimedia socket in the Setup Media
menu
