Ski Tow
This boat comes equipped with a ski tow
hook to pull a tube, water skier or wake-
boarder.
CAUTION:
Never use the ski tow
hook or tower to tow any other craft.
Towing Tower
CAUTION:
Do NOT fold tower for-
ward.
Attempting to fold the tower forward
will
damage the front tower mounts.

CAUTION:
Always tow the boat with
the towing tower fastened in the up-
right position to avoid damage to the
boat. Tower must be secured and
bolted in upright position when boat
is operated. Periodically check that
bolts are in place and tight. Check
clearance height around docks,
shore, overhanging objects, bridges
and power lines. The tower must not
be used as a tie-down or tie-off point.
To clean tower, use mineral spirits and
a clean soft cloth.
NOTE:
This procedure may require two
people.
To prepare tower for storage, remove
both knobs from each side, lower sup-
port arms to the gunwale, and carefully
lower tower to rear of boat. Remove
bolts from each support arm using an
8 mm (5/16 in) hexagonal tip.
PERFORM FOR EACH SIDE
1. Remove both knobs
2. Lower support arms to gunwale
3. Remove bolt
Store support arms in the deck storage
compartment.
Erection of tower is reverse of this pro-
cedure.
NOTE:
Apply Loctite 243 (P/N 293 800
059) to threads of bolts and install
bolts into forward attachment points.
Torque bolts to 35 N•m (25.8 lbf•ft)
and complete erection of tower.
1. Apply Loctite 243 to these bolts (each side)
Tower Removal
NOTE:
Removal of the tower will re-
quire 2 people. Remove tower only
from upright position.
Using an 8 mm (5/16 in) hexagonal tip,
remove bolts from tower attachment
points.
Carefully maneuver tower away from
boat and place on a level surface.
Save bolts for later reinstallation.
WARNING
When pulling a tube, skier or wake-
boarder, always have an observer,
proceed with only as much speed
as required, and follow the observ-
er’s instructions.
