Sensor Factor: Allows for configuring the sensor fa ctor used at the digital input. This parameter can be found in the sensor manual as k-
factor . LogBo x 3G provides three units for the sensor. The custom unit option can be selected to meet any need not previously list ed by the
device (see P ulse Count section).

Average Flor by Acquisition Interval: Allows for config uring the device to log the average flow rate per acquisition interval.
o
Unit: Allows for configuring the flow rate unit related to the pulses counted at the digital input. LogBox 3G provides nine flow units. The
custom unit option can be selected to meet any need not previously listed by the device. If this option is selected, the "Sensor Factor" and
its respectiv e unit need to be configured for the device to take counts and displays the flow rate in the configured unit.
 Custo m: Allows for configuring a custom unit f or the digital input. The field allows for describing the unit with up to eight characters. If
a custo m unit is configured, the "Sensor Factor" parameter will need to be configured. See Pulse Count section.

Unit Factor: If the "Unit" parameter or "Sensor Factor " unit are configured in "Custom" mode, the "Unit Factor" parameter will need to be
configured. The unit factor should relate the required unit to the sensor unit and the sensor factor will be used as a factor to be mul tiplied in
the counts read from the digital input (see Pulse Count section).

No. of Deci mal Places: Allows for configuring the desired number of decimal places for displaying the calculated value, in flow, fro m the
digital input.

Volu me Since Last Reset: Allows for configuring the device to log the volume since the last reset.

Tag: Allows for configuring a name to be used as identification for the digital channel. The field accepts up to 16 characters.

Input Type: Allows for selecting the digital input mode. In this case, "Pulse Count" mode.
•
Sensor Type:
Allows for configuring the sensor type to be connected to the digital input: PNP, NPN or Dry Contact.
•
Count Edge: Allows for configuring the desired count edge. The device will thus increase counts whenever the configured edge is detected at
the digital input. The count can be performed during the rising edge, falling edge or both.

Debounce: If the configured sensor type is Dry Contact, a debounce time will need to be configured for edge detection. Debounce is the
sensor stabilization time – the minimum time at which the sensor must remain at the logical level of interest for the detected edge to be
considered valid. The minimum configurable debounce time is 50 milliseconds; the maximum is 6 seconds.

Appplication: Allows for selecting the application type of the digital input. In this case, the type "Count".
•
