Corrective Action

Possible Cause

Issue

Make sure that the pump operates normally, and if there
is an abnormality, take corrective action.

The mobile phase solution
is not flowing.

Add the required amount of sample to the sample vial.

The required amount of
sample is not present in the
sample vial.

Inspect the time program and correct it.

The content of the time
program is incorrect.

Backwash the flow line. Inspect the flow line, and if it
is clogged, replace the part.

The flow line through
which the sample is
injected is clogged.

Change the needle stroke to a smaller value. Refer to

Set the Plate Type and Needle Stroke from the Top

The hole at the tip of the
needle is plugged by the
bottom of the sample vial.

If the pumping pressure has risen, then the flow line might be clogged. Use the procedure in "

to remove the connections downstream from the flow line sequentially and then verify the pressure again.
