11. Once you remove the lock up bars, place on
end over the cylinder pin as shown in
Figure
Ops-1555
, and fasten it on with the lynch pin
provided.
12. Then do the same at the other end of the
cylinder as shown in Figure Ops-1556.
13. Once the wing is locked in place with the lock up bars, loosen the winch, remove the cable from the wing,
and then repeat the same procedure to lift the other wing if necessary. When complete, put the winch back
in its storage location.
14. To lower the wings with the winch kit, place the cable eye of the lifting hook on the wing, tighten the winch
until the lock up bar is easily removable. Once the lock up bar is removed, slowly lower the wing to the
ground. During this operation, ensure no person is beneath the wing or within 20 feet of the wing.
15. When complete, put the winch cable back in its storage location.
Never work under the Implement, the framework, or any lifted
component unless the Implement is securely supported or blocked up
to prevent sudden or inadvertent falling which could cause serious
injury or even death.
