Lift up the main cover.
Do as described in Step 1 of “Setting roll paper.”

Lower the head open lever (purple / CLOSE ). The printer head will open.
Do as described in Step 2 of “Setting roll paper.”

Put in a carbon ribbon in the
ribbon feeder.
Push it inwards all the way.
(Ensure that the roll is in the
right direction.)

Set the ribbon core to the
ribbon winding unit.
