Attention!
Damage from using the wrong tool
The air distribution ring is fitted firmly in the nozzle head, which can be
damaged if excessive force is used. Injuries can be caused if the SATA
extraction tool slips during use.
→ Wear protective gloves.
→ Always use the SATA extraction tool pointing away from your body.
→ Pull the air distribution ring evenly out of the nozzle head.
■ Proceed with the steps to "Dismantle material nozzle" and "Dismantle
pre-nozzle, hard metal ball tip and paint needle" (see chapter 10.1).
■ Remove air distribution ring using SATA extraction tool [9-1] .
■ Check sealing surfaces of nozzle head
[9-2]
for damage and soiling,
clean if necessary.
Fit new air distribution ring
■ Insert new air distribution ring in nozzle head. The pin on the bottom of
the air distribution ring must be aligned accordingly [9-3] .
■ Press the air distribution ring in evenly.
■ Proceed with the steps to "Mount new pre-nozzle, hard metal ball tip
and paint needle" and "Mount new material nozzle" (see chapter 10.1).
10.3. Replace trigger guard
Remove trigger guard
■ Unscrew end screw [8-8] using Allen key
■ Remove spring [8-7] and paint needle [8-6] .
■ Pull circlips
[10-4], [10-7]
off carefully.
■ Remove spring washer [10-1] and plastic washer [10-2] .
■ Remove both bolts [10-3] and [10-6] .
■ Remove trigger guard [10-5] .
Mount new trigger guard
■ Insert trigger guard [10-5] ; at the same time insert spring washer [10-
1] and plastic washer [10-2] between gun body and trigger guard.
■ Insert both bolts [10-3] and [10-6] .
■ Fit circlips [10-4], [10-7] on both bolts.
■ Insert paint needle
[8-6]
and spring
[8-7]
.
■ Screw in end screw [8-8] using Allen key.
