Automatic Shutoff of Combics

In the

SETUP

menu, the indicator can be set to shut off automatically using a timer

under

UTILIT

PARAMETER

AUTO.OFF

(Menu item 8.7.).

Display Lighting

The following settings can be made for display lighting in the

SETUP

menu under

UTILIT

PARAMETER

/ BACKLIT

–  on (8.8.1)
–  off (8.8.2)
–  off automatically using a timer (8.8.3).

Timer

The timer for switching off the device and/or display lighting can be set to 2, 4 or
10 minutes (menu item 8.9) in the

SETUP

menu under

UTILIT

PARAMETER

TIMER

Example:

Switch on the device, zero the scale, tare the container weight, place sample in the

container, toggle display to gross weight or to second weight unit or 10-fold
resolution.

Turn on the device.

All display segments appear (display test).

The display for no load on the scale appears.
