The Auto Data Deletion feature, when enabled, will automatically erase the data saved in the data drive if the set deletion period elapses.
Setting options:
Off: Disables the Auto Data Deletion feature.
1 to 99DAYS: Sets the Auto Data Deletion period.
You can configure various drive settings on the digital video recorder.
Shows the drive letter for each available drive.
"C" and "D" are drives installed as standard on the digital video recorder.
Installing a removable hard disk or connecting to a network drive causes the corresponding drive letter to be added.
Shows the drive type recognized by the system.
Select an appropriate drive type for each drive from the pull-down menu.
Setting options:
Data Drive: Drive that stores recorded data.
Backup Drive: Drive that stores back up data.
Automatic Backup Drive: Drive that stores automatically backed up data.
The recorded data for the specified channel will be backed up automatically in 64-Mbyte files.
To use the automatic backup function, you must configure the automatic backup settings.
Shows the total capacity of the drive.
Shows the available remaining capacity of the drive.

The minimum unit of recording data is 64 Mbytes. If the recorded data is less than 64 Mbytes, the Automatic Delete feature will not be activated even if the Auto Data
Deletion period is expired. Setting Normal recording always causes 64 Mbytes or more of recorded data to be stored, so the Automatic Delete feature functions
without fail.
Although the system initially recognizes removable hard disks as “Backup Drive”, you can change the drive type as desired.
The drive type for the C drive (system drive) cannot be changed.
You cannot set the drive type to "Data drive" if the available disk space on the hard drive is 3 Gbytes or less.
You cannot perform recording and playback if you set the drive type to other than "Data drive" for all drives.
The digital video recorder's removable disk drive does not support hot-swapping.
Be sure to power OFF the digital video recorder before installing or removing a removable hard disk.
Even if you have installed an additional hard disk, you cannot continue recording if an error occurs on that disk. Be sure to configure the transmission settings on the
[Error HDD] tab so that you can take prompt action in the event of an error.
This information changes only after you format the hard disk. It will not be changed even if you change the drive type.
