1. The rear brake line is already connected

to the lever and caliper. Install the caliper

according to your brake manufacturer’s

instructions.

2. In order to route the rear brake lever

between the rear triangle and the frame,

you must first remove the seat stay pivot

axle to pass the brake lever between the

rear triangle and the frame. Use a 4 mm

hex wrench to remove the cone washer

and bolt. Then use a 5 mm hex wrench to

remove the pivot axle.
