2. If there is no free space for creating a new dedicated cache volume. Firstly, decrease the global
cache size by clicking the button “
” in size column. After resizing, click “
” to
return to the cache volume page.
3. Click “
“ to enter the setup page.
4. Fill in the size and click “

5. Done. A new dedicated cache volume has been set.
Tips : The minimum size of global cache volume is
40MB
. The minimum size of dedicated cache volume is
20MB
.
Step 2:
Create VG (Volume Group).
Please refer to Step 1 of Example 1 to create VG.
Step 3:
Create UDV (User Data Volume).
Please refer to Step 2 of Example 1 to create UDV. To create a UDV with dedicated cache volume,
please follow the below procedures.
