Confi guring the Communication Gateway
In the
Security Settings
screen, the communications gateway administrator can
create secure communication tunnels using common tunneling protocols, such as
L2TP-Ethernet/IPSEC, L2TP-PPP/IPSEC, or OpenVPN. This instruction sheet provides a
description of how to create these secure tunnels. See Figure 57.

Clicking on the
Add Secure Tunnel
button initiates a menu of L2TP-Ethernet/IPSEC,
L2TP-PPP/IPSEC, or OpenVPN protocols. For each of the respective tunnels, a dialogue
box will appear for field entry. When the fields are completed, click on the
Add
button
to complete and add the tunnel profile.
The administrator has the option to choose any of the three types of secure tunnels
based on the capabilities of the remote server.
