Setting the Time and Date
To set the time and date:

Highlight the Time icon and press ENTER.

Highlight Set The Clock and press ENTER.
You will be asked whether you follow daylight savings
time or not. Highlight
Yes or No and press ENTER.

Highlight the time zone in which you live on the map of
the United States. Press ENTER.
If you are receiving a digital signal, the time will be set
automatically. If you cannot set the clock automatically
you will need to set the clock manually.

Highlight Year and press ENTER.
Move the I-Point control up to increase or down to
decrease the year in the display. When the year is correct,
press ENTER.

Repeat step 4 to set the month, date, hour and minute.

Highlight AM/PM and press ENTER repeatedly to display
either AM or PM.

When you finish, press DISPLAY to confirm the time and
date you set.
Changing Channels
Once your HDTV has memorized all of the channels it can receive, use the
following remote control buttons to move through the available channels.
Number buttons
Press the number buttons (1 – 9) to enter channel numbers. For channel
numbers over 99, see +100 button, below.
+100 button
Press +100 to enter cable channel numbers higher than 99. For example,
to select channel 187, press +100, then 8 and 7.
PRE-CH button
Press to return to the previous channel you viewed. For example, if
your HDTV is on channel 55 and then you change to channel 90,
pressing PRE-CH will return the HDTV to channel 55.
FAV-CH button
Press to switch between favorite channels. See “Selecting Your Favorite
Channels,” page 21 for more information.
CH yz button
Press CH yz to move up or down to the next available channel. Press and
hold CH y or z to move up or down quickly through the channels.
