Tap the Keyboard swipe field to be able to sweep the
keyboard to switch between letter and symbol entry ( ABC
and ?123 modes). For more information, refer to “Text Input
Methods” on page 53.

To enable handwriting recognition, tap the Handwriting slider
to turn Handwriting recognition on.

If you are using Handwriting recognition, tap Handwriting to
modify the settings.

Tap Voice input to show the voice entry button on the
keyboard.
12.
Tap the Auto-capitalisation field to enable automatic
capitalization.
13.
Tap Auto-punctuate to automatically insert a period by
tapping the space bar twice.
14.
Tap the Character preview field to display small pop-up
windows to verify the character you entered.
15.
Tap Key-tap vibration to have the phone vibrate when a key
is pressed.
16.
Tap Key-tap sound to have the phone play a sound when a
key is pressed.
17.
Tap Tutorial for a short tutorial on using the Samsung
keyboard.
18.
Tap Reset settings to return all settings to default values.
Predictive Text Settings
The predictive text settings are only available if the Predictive text
field has been enabled.
1. From the Home screen, tap ➔ Settings ➔ Language
and input .

Tap the icon next to Samsung keyboard .
3.
Tap Predictive text .
4. Tap the Word completion field to enable word completion.
Your phone will predict how to complete the word you have
started.
5.
Tap the Word completion point field to set how many letters
should be entered before a prediction is made.
6.
Tap the Spell correction field. This option corrects
typographical errors by selecting from a list of possible
words that reflect the characters of the keys you tapped as
well as the characters of nearby keys.
