Insulating refrigerant pipe

You must insulate refrigerant pipe, Y-joint, header joint, and pipe connection area.
f
If you insulate the pipes, the condensed water does not fall from the pipes.
f
Check if there are any insulation cracks on the bent pipe.

The insulation of the gas and liquid pipes can be in contact
with each other but they should not press excessively
against each other.

When contacting the gas side and liquid side pipe, use
thicker insulation.

When installing the gas side and liquid side pipes, leave
10mm of space.

Install the insulation not to be get wider and use adhesive on the connection part of it to prevent moisture
entering.
t
Bind the refrigerant pipe with insulation tape if it is exposed to outside sunlight. (When binding the pipe with
finishing tape, be careful not to reduce the thickness of the insulation.)
t
Install the refrigerant pipe respecting that the insulation does not get thinner on the bent part or hanger of pipe.
t
When the thickness of insulation is reduced, supplement the reduced thickness with additional insulation.
