Distributor Motor
Preparation:
•

- Refer to the “cover sump” disassembly section.
• Disassemble the shutter.
- Refer to the “shutter” disassembly section.

Remove the distributor motor connector
5HPRYHWKHWZRVFUHZVWKDWKROGWKHGLVWULEXWRU
motor in place
3. Pull out the distributor motor and micro switch which
is held in by tabs.
Be careful when removing the distributor motor. The
cam switch and seal are on the shaft side.
Circulation Motor
Preparation:
•
'LVDVVHPEOHWKHFRYHUVXPS FXWWHUGLVSRVHUDQGVKXWWHU
- Refer to each disassembly section.
1.
Remove the circulation motor and capacitor
connection.
Remove the four(4) screws holding the circulation
motor and the sump in place, and the one(1) screw for
earth connection from main wire-harness.
3.
Hold and pull out the circulation motor carefully to
remove it from the sump.
Caution
Remove the water from the sump assembly before

Caution
Be careful not to break the oil seal when removing the
motor.

Reassembly is in the reverse order of the removal.
