SPS-500
Memory Reset
CAUTION:
THIS WILL RESET ALL PROGRAMMED INFORMATION, SETTING THE MACHINE BACK TO
FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS
This procedure will reset the machine back to factory settings, ready to commence programming.
Note
: Changing any memory allocation options after programming would result in resetting the terminal.
MEMORY ALL CLEAR
1. Turn the power switch located on the right side of the register to the OFF position.
2. Turn the control lock to the unmarked position one position clockwise from the PGM position.
3. Press and hold the key position where the CHECK key is located on the default keyboard layout.

4. While continuing to hold the CHECK key, turn the power switch to the ON position.
5. Press the upper left key of the keyboard, then the lower left key, then the upper right key, and finally
press the lower right key.

6. When complete, the display will prompt “Enter Register Number (1-32)”. Type the register number on
the numeric keypad and press ENTER. The S-MODE PROGRAMMING MENU will display.
TO MEMORY ALL CLEAR:
Press and hold this key position
during power-up in S-mode.
