The GR valve, if equipped, is located on the top of the binary manifold. It was designed to
double the available conveyor chain speed. A GR valve can be used in either manual or a system
equipped with a rate control system. The GR valve operates independently of the rate control
system.
The GR valve allows a much wider range of speed and torque options controlled by the operator.
It is generally better to start application in the Normal setting, then use the High setting to achieve
desired rates once the conveyor has started. When your controller alerts that you are unable
to achieve the desired rate, that is the optimal time to switch into the High setting, which allows
greater chain speed.
**In manual operation (no rate controller), the chain speed will double as the High setting
is engaged. Proper calibration should be performed to account for this or the application
rate will not match the desired rate.

Hydraulic Options- Additional Performance
The Hy-Torque Manifold provides twice the
torque capability for the spinner system.
In situations where the pattern is adversely
affected by high speed, rate and weight
combinations, engage the Hy-Torque Manifold
to produce consistent results.
The Hy-Torque Manifold is manually engaged
by turning the handle at the top of the manifold.
When engaged, it may be necessary to fully
open the spinner speed flow control valve.
Hy-Torque Manifold
The Hy-Torque Manifold and GR Valve are performance enhancing options that may be added
to the unit. Each system contributes a unique, performance enhancing benefit.
