11. STORAGE

When not in use, store hoist and work platform in such a way as to protect from unauthorized use.
Always unplug power cord when not in use and equipment is left unattended.

Store the Spider
®
UpPro P2514 or P2314 Hoist in an indoor facility where the ambient temperature
is between -40° F to 158° F (-40° C to 70° C) and relative humidity does not exceed 60%. Guard
against temperature fluctuations of more than 30° over the course of 24 hours. Protect the hoist
from dust and dirt, but do NOT pack the hoist in an airtight container.

Do NOT store the hoist for long periods in areas where the brake or other parts may become
corroded, such as in salty coastal air or enclosed areas that contain corrosive vapors. Hoist
functionality cannot be guaranteed under such circumstances.
