Check for Proper Recline
Make sure level to ground
line on side of infant
restraint is level with the
ground.
NOTE:
You may need
to place a tightly rolled
towel(s) or foam pool
noodle(s) under the front of
the base to achieve correct
recline angle.
Check often to be sure
padding is still in place, the
level to ground line is still
level and the belt is tight.

To Remove UAS Belt
From Vehicle UAS
Anchor Bar
Remove shell from base.
See section C-2.
Press down firmly on UAS
adjuster side of base and
press the UAS adjuster
release button to release
the tension in the belt.

Unhook the UAS hooks
from vehicle anchor bar by
squeezing the spring lever,
push UAS hook into the
vehicle seat bight and twist hook off the anchor bar.
(2)
Pull
UAS hooks away from the UAS anchor bars.

Install Base with Vehicle Belts
Do not use the UAS along
with the vehicle lap or lap/
shoulder belt. You must
store the UAS when using
the vehicle seat belts.
Check the vehicle belt before each use. Use
only if the belt can be tightened properly
and securely.
Do not recline the infant restraint beyond
the level-to-ground line.
Failure to follow these warnings can result
in serious injury or death.
Place Base in Vehicle
Rear-Facing in the
Back Seat
Center the base in the
correctly chosen seating
position per your vehicle
owners manual.
