From underneath
infant restraint, pull the
buckle strap’s metal
retainer through the
shell and insert it into
the middle slot.

From the front, lift pad
up and place the buckle
strap’s metal retainer
flush on bottom of the
shell. Replace the pad.

Check Buckle
From the front, pull up on
buckle strap to make sure it
is secured.
The buckle must not pull
out.

Failure to place buckle strap’s metal retainer
completely through pad and shell can result
in serious injury or death.

Check Harness Height
With infant in the infant
restraint, check the location
of the upper harness slots.
Follow the guidelines on
below to determine the
correct harness height.

Rear-Facing Position
Upper harness slots must be
even with or just below
the
shoulders.
If the lowest harness slots are
above the infant’s shoulders,
do
not
use this infant restraint.
To Change Harness
Strap Location
With harness system
loosened, from the back,
unhook harness strap
loops from the splitter
plate.
From the front of infant
restraint, pull harness
straps out of the upper
harness slots.
