Connect UAS to
Vehicle’s UAS Anchor
Bar
Fasten one UAS hook to
the UAS anchor bar in the
vehicle seat bight. Repeat
for other side of base.

Tighten UAS Belt
Place one hand in the base
and push down
FIRMLY
while pulling up on loop end
until all slack is removed and
UAS belt is tight.
Tip:
Push base down and
towards the vehicle seat
back to help get a snug fit.

Check UAS Belt
Tightness
Grasp the base at
the belt path
with one
hand. Push and pull
the base from side
to side, forward and
back. The base at the
belt path should not
move more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) and the UAS belt should
not loosen.
NOTE:
If it moves more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) or if the UAS
belt loosens, try reinstalling the infant restraint or try
another seating location. Check your vehicle owner’s
manual or call DJG Consumer Relations for help.
7.
Failure to securely attach shell to the base can
result in serious injury or death.
Carrying handle MUST be in the upright AND
locked position when installed in a vehicle.

To Attach Shell to
Base
Align notches in the
front of shell with the
lock bar on the base.
Push down firmly to
lock into place.
You will hear a “click”
when it is locked.
Pull up on shell to
make sure it is locked
into place.

Center the base between
the vehicle anchors in the
correctly chosen seating
position per your vehicle
owners manual.
