3.6.2 Pressure alarm
The channel triggers a pressure alarm and forces the center into alarm mode, if there is too
much pressure in the channel line when pressurization phase starts or if the pressure in the line
being pressurized does not rise sufficiently high during pressurization time. In this case, the
phase code
Press.al.
, the number of the line which is in alarm mode and the elapsed alarm
time are displayed. Also the channel module
AL
LED-signal is lit. The channel pressure alarm
mode does not affect the operation of other channels.
Pressure switch operation
In pressure switch operation, pressure alarm is triggered, if one of the switches is closed, when
pressurization starts. The same line will be pressurized again, when both of the pressure
switches are open and the alarm has been reset by pressing the
Ack.
key for the channel in
question.
Pressure alarm is triggered also, if the pressure switch for the pressurized line does not close
within the set maximum pressurization time. The same line will be pressurized again, when the
alarm has been reset by pressing the
Ack.
key for the channel in question.
Pressure transmitter operation
In pressure transmitter operation, pressure alarm is triggered, if the pressure in both lines has
not dropped below the set low level, when pressurization starts. The same line will be
pressurized again, when pressure level is below the low level value and the alarm has been
reset by pressing the
Ack.
key for the channel in question.
Pressure alarm is triggered also, if the pressure in the pressurized line does not reach the set
high limit within the set maximum pressurization time. The same line will be pressurized again,
when the alarm has been reset by pressing the
Ack.
key for the channel in question.
3.6.3 Power failure alarm
During power failure all alarm relays are in alarm mode. Alarm is automatically reset, when the
power is back on.
Note
Alarm
LED-signal on the center cover is not lit during power failure.
3.6.4 Error alarm from electronics
The diagnostic program for electronics may trigger a
Channel module error
alarm, if there are
problems in the communication between the channel module and CPU-unit or in the channel
module power input. The alarm is automatically reset, when the problem is solved.
