Installation and Operation

10. Verify connection of 24V battery positive and negative to TB1.6 and TB1.5, respectively.

11. Place charger ON/OFF switch to the ON position.

12. Place DC MAIN circuit breaker in the On position. Measure the voltage across R1, with the

negative lead to ground, using Ohm's law calculate the charging cV/.02 Ohms =
Amps. The charging current should never exceed 11.1 A.

13. Move the positive lead of the DMM to TB2.6, and the negative lead to chassis ground.

14. Verify that proper (+) DC is present. A fully charged stack will yield 28.5V minus the drop

across CR1, or approximately 27.8 VDC.

15. Remove primary AC / DC power sources. Disconnect all test equipment.

16. As necessary, disconnect all AC and DC input sources from the Load Center/Battery

Charger.

17. Replace front panel.

18. Place all front panel switches and circuit breakers into the OFF position.
