Program 9 – direct frequency request with cascading
For cascading with signal overlap, the 1st outdoor unit is controlled by an external analog signal
between the following signal ranges:
Analog signal type
Signal range of 1st outdoor unit
0-10 V DC
1 to 5.8 V DC
0-5 V DC
0.5 to 2.9 V DC
0-20 mA
2 to 11.6
mA
4-20 mA
5.6 to 13.3
mA
Table 59: Direct frequency request with cascading with signal overlap – signal range of 1st air conditioning unit
At and above the following analog signals, the 2nd outdoor unit also already starts up, until the
maximum compressor frequency is reached:
Analog signal type
Signal of 2nd outdoor unit
0-10 V DC
5 V DC
0-5 V DC
2.5 V DC
0-20 mA
10
mA
4-20 mA
12
mA
Table 60: Direct frequency request with cascading with signal overlap – signal of 2nd air conditioning unit
The analog signals of the 1st and 2nd outdoor unit overlap between the following signal ranges:
Analog signal type
Signal overlap of 1st and 2nd outdoor units
0-10 V DC
5 to 5.8 V DC
0-5 V DC
2.5 to 2.9 V DC
0-20 mA
10 to 11.6
mA
4-20 mA
12 to 13.3
mA

15.4.1 Setting the signal ranges via DIP switch S2
16 signal ranges are stored in the CompTrol Interface. On both CompTrol Interface expansion
modules, set signal ranges
