Functions of the CompTrol Interface expansion module
Signal boundary value monitoring is possible in the following programs:
–
Program 0 and programs 2 to 5.
5.3.5 Status of the CompTrol Interface (master/slave) in the X/Y remote control bus
DIP switch
S2-1
determines the status of the CompTrol Interface in the X/Y remote control bus.
If the CompTrol Interface is to be used as a remote control, it must be configured as a slave.
Master
The CompTrol Interface is the master and controls the indoor unit in the X/Y remote control bus.
The wired remote control has slave status. The operating parameters cannot be read out on the
wired remote control.
Slave
The wired remote control is the master and controls the indoor unit in the X/Y remote control bus.
The operating parameters can be read out on the wired remote control. The CompTrol Interface
has slave status. Depending on the program, certain operating parameters can be displayed on
the CompTrol Interface.
Note
There can only ever be one master in an
X/Y remote control bus.
●
If the CompTrol Interface is configured as master in the X/Y remote control bus, the wired re
-
mote control must be configured as slave, and vice versa.
●
If the status of the CompTrol Interface changes, always check the status of the other users in
the X/Y remote control bus.
If more than one user in the same X/Y remote control bus is configured as a master or slave,
the users will not be able to communicate with one another. This permanently disrupts opera
-
tion!
The master/slave function is available in all programs.
5.3.6 Alarm signal
All alarms registered by the indoor unit, plus internal expansion module alarms, are emitted via
digital output
X4a-I
. In addition, the error code can be displayed on the 7-segment display (see
“4.7 7-segment display” on page 21).
The alarm signal function is active in all programs.
