Mounting the CMAP

Grounding the CMAP

3.

Locate the ground hole on the CMAP chassis (see 

Figure 36

).

Remove the M6 screw that is installed in the ground hole.

5.

Connect the ground lug to the ground hole using the M6 screw the you removed earlier.

6.

Tighten the ground screw.

7.

If necessary, strip the other end of the ground wire, and then connect it to a reliable 
earth ground.

You have completed grounding the CMAP. You may now install the external antennas. See 

Installing the Antennas

 for more information.
