NOTE: If you see a far-right green LED, this indicates that the LEDs are still in AP Mode .
You have completed switching the LEDs to CM Mode using SNMP.

Resetting CM and AP to Factory Default
Settings Simultaneously
There are two ways to reset the CM and AP components to factory default settings
simultaneously:

Using the Reset Switch on the DC Power Supply
■
Using the Reset Shunt
CAUTION: Resetting the CM and AP to factory default settings erases all the settings that
you have previously configured. Note, too, that this disrupts all wireless network
communications through this device.
Using the Reset Switch on the DC Power Supply
The DC power supply (see DC Power Supply in “Connectors” on page 34) includes a reset
switch that you can use to reset the entire CMAP to its factory default settings.
CAUTION: Performing this procedure resets both the CM and AP components to their
factory default settings. If you only want to reset the AP component to its factory default
setting, perform the procedure described in
“Resetting the AP Only to Factory Default
Settings” on page 58 instead.
NOTE: Before resetting the CMAP, verify that it has booted up completely. If you have
just powered on the CMAP, wait at least one minute to allow it to complete its bootup
before performing this procedure.
1. Verify that the CMAP is receiving power from the coaxial cable.
2. If the DC connector on the CMAP is protected by its cap, remove the cap.
3. Connect the DC adapter to the DC connector on the CMAP.
4. Connect the DC power adapter to a power source.
