Filter pump assembly
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Before installing the unit, first set up the pool as instructed and fill with water.
2.
In order to achieve optimum performance the pump must be located on a level surface with maximum
ventilation. Ensure also that the pump is located outside the pool with the top of the pump at a level 5 -
10 cm below the water level.
3.
Position the 230V plug of the transformer at least 3m away from the pool, and away from all wet areas.

The filter pump can be mounted on a particular surface using the bolts in the drillings provided at the
base of the pump.

Take the two ends of the hoses and secure them to the pump. (See diagram). Fasten the hose clip.
6.
Insert the filter cartridge (4) into the housing (5).

After this, turn and tighten the filter lid (2) in a clockwise motion, paying attention to the correct
positioning of the O ring (3) (gasket ring) at the same time.
8.
Turn the air outlet valve (1) carefully 1 - 2 turns counter-clockwise. Ensure that the air outlet valve is
closed again at the right time when starting the pump. (See note in “Starting the pump”)
9.
Now fasten both of the remaining ends of the hoses to the exterior side of the pool and fix them with the
hose clamps. Make sure you do the following:
- connect the upper hose fitting from the inlet with the lower outlet opening of the pool, and
- connect the lower hose fitting from the outlet of the pump with the upper filling opening of the pool
Now the pump is ready to start. The noise level totals 82dB(A). Check again that all connections are correctly
seated and ensure that the water level is about 3 - 5 cm higher than the top hose connection on the pump.
Ensure also that the pump is at least 60 to 90 cm away from the pool.
