- Position a suitable oil catch tray under the screw (E/A).
- Unscrew screw (E/A).
- Unscrew level screw (N).
Gear oil drains into oil catch tray.
- Dispose the used gear oil in accordance with local regula-
tions.

Fill in new gear oil:
- Turn drum, until screw (E/A) is positioned on top of the
drum.
- Open level screw (N)
- Open screw (E/A)
- Fill in new gear oil through the opening of screw (E/A) un-
til oil comes out of level screw opening.
- Close screw (N) and (E/A).
10.2.6
Check of holding brake
If the winch is equipped with the option brake test valve go
to chapter “brake test valve” and proceed the test like de-
scried there.
If the winch does not have this option installed, proceed
with the following:
1. Lift the rated load according to technical data at a
height of 100mm / 4inch over ground.
2. Stop the winch.
3. Keep the load in this position for 5mins.
4. To pass the test the drum must no turn and the load
must not lower.
5. Lower the load to the ground.
