The "rope-end control" consists of a scanning pulley (1)
with, a lever (2) and a control switch (3).
The scanning pulley (1) scans the rope structure (S) during
winch operation. The installed control switch (3) is a break
contact, which is closed as long as rope end is not
reached. The contact opens when rope end is reached.
Depending on chosen rope end control option, reaching the
last 3/5 wraps of the wire rope on the first rope layer, the
scanning pulley (1) leaves the rope structure (S).
This lowers the scanning pulley (1) and pushes the lever
(2).
The lever switches on the control switch (3) that interrupts
the signal to the hoisting gear control.
