8.3.3
Separate case drain line
For TI 5 with piston motor a separate case drain line form
motor to the tank has to be always installed.
For TI 5 with gear motor if the return pressure exceeds 200
psi a separate case drain line from the motor to the tank
has to be installed.
If a separate case drain line has to be connected on the
topmost case drain port to assure proper lubrication of the
motor at any time.
If the orientation of the case drain connection at the winch
changes during operation (e. g. by changing the crane
boom angle), a case drain line has to be connected to each
of the two case drain connections L1 and L2.
The two case drain lines have to be merged in way, so that
the oil level always levels out at the centre axis of the mo-
tor. Refer to the drawings in Fig. 21 and Fig. 22. as a basic
principal.
