2.1.2.3 System Values
A system value is any analogue signal or value that is
required for use in the controller functions.
A system value can be linked to an analogue input or
internal sensor. In this case the system value will be driven
from the physical input and cannot be changed by the user.
A system value can also be linked to an analogue output. In
the case the value is automatically mapped to the physical
output to provide an output signal.
If the system value is not linked to a physical input then the
value can be changed manually or via a communication
channel.
The following screen displays the available options for each
system value.
Name (read-only)
The name of the system value.
Value
The current value and units of the system value.
NOTE
: The number of decimal places cannot be changed
using the switch on the controller.
2.1.2.4 System Times
A system time is any time period which is required for use in
the controller functions.
Each time period is set as a number of days, hours, minutes,
seconds and milliseconds, each value being an integer.
The following screen displays the available options for each
system time.
