2.1.1.6 Analogue Outputs
An analogue output is an analogue signal calculated and
transmitted by the controller. Both current (4-20mA) and
voltage (0-5V) signals can be provided.
The following screen displays the available options for each
analogue output.
Signal
The analogue output signals included in the drop down list
are linked to the available System Values.
NOTE
: When linked to a System Value, the value of the
Analogue Output will be equal to the value of the System
Value.
Value (read-only)
Indicates the calculated analogue output signal.
Minimum Sensor Range
Indicates the minimum sensor range value and is used to
convert the calculated analogue signal into a raw analogue
output signal.
Maximum Sensor Range
Indicates the maximum sensor range value and is used to
convert the calculated analogue signal into a raw analogue
output signal.
Signal Type (read-only)
Indicates whether the analogue signal is current (4-20mA) or
voltage (0-5V).
NOTE
: This must be selected at order stage.
Calibration
See Section 3 for details on analogue output calibration.
2.1.1.7 Internal Sensor
The internal sensor in the controller is a contactless position
sensor which measures the internal position of the shaft.
The position sensor can be either linear or rotary and must
be set at order stage.
The following screen displays the available options for the
internal sensor.
Signal
The internal sensor signals included in the drop down list
are linked to the available System Values.
NOTE
: When linked to a System Value, the value of the
System Value will be equal to the value of the Internal
Sensor.
Value (read-only)
Indicates the converted internal signal based on the set
sensor range.
Minimum Sensor Range
Indicates the minimum sensor range value and is used to
convert the minimum raw internal sensor into the required
analogue signal.
Maximum Sensor Range
Indicates the maximum sensor range value and is used to
convert the maximum raw internal sensor into the required
analogue signal.
Sensor Type (read-only)
Indicates whether the internal sensor is linear or rotary.
NOTE
: This must be selected at order stage.
Calibration
See Section 3 for details on internal sensor calibration.
