Electricalsafety
• Do not use the device, as well as the power supply unit, if it has fallen and/or there is visible damage to
the housing or power cable.
• If the power cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer
services department or a similarly qualified individual in order to avoid any hazards.
Warning
Only use the power supply unit provided!
Only connect the device to a properly installed socket. The mains voltage must match the techni-
cal data of the device. Otherwise, there is a risk of overloading and short circuit. Observe the type
plate on the power supply unit.
• Never leave the device unattended during use!
• Devices may be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or limited
experience and/or knowledge if these individuals are supervised or have been instructed on the safe
use of the device and understand the resulting risks.
• This device may not be used by children. Keep the device and its connection cable away from children.
• Children may not play with the appliance.
• Choose a location for the device so that children and individuals who are not able to properly handle
electrical equipment have no access to the device.
• Only use and store the device out of the reach of children. The power cable must also be inaccessible to
children as they could drag the device around.
• Do not leave any packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene, etc.) within reach of children. Children
cannot play with plastic bags as they pose a suffocation risk.

Risk of electric shock!
• The power plug and the power cable must not come into contact with water or other liquids.
• Never immerse the device, as well as the power cable and power plug, in water or other liquids, neither
for cleaning nor another purpose.
• Do not use the device in the vicinity of a sink or washbasin.
• Do not touch the device with wet hands.
• Do not place the device on a damp surface.
• Do not use the device if it has any malfunctions or it has gotten wet. If the power cable is damaged, it
must be replaced by an expert, the customer services department or a similarly qualified individual.
Caution
• Always disconnect the device from the power supply when it is unattended and before cleaning.
• In order to remove the power plug from the socket, always pull the power plug itself and not the pow-
er cable in order to avoid any hazards and damage.
• Never pull the device at the power cable. Do not bend the power cable and do not wind it around the
device in order to avoid damage.
• Check the power cable regularly for any signs of damage. You must not use the power cable or the
device if they are damaged in order to avoid the risk of an electric shock.
