Not possible to
write to RTG Metrological Seal in Write inhibit
position. Put switch in write enable position.
Temperature
measurement
incorrect Temperature sensor incorrectly
connected. Measure resistance on tempera-
ture sensor wires.
Check connection of temperature
sensors to terminal: Lowest sen-
sor to lowest number on terminal.
Temperature sensor with ground
failure. Measure resistance between sig-
nal wire and ground, must be > 5

Short circuited temperature sen-
sor. Measure resistance.
Measured value outside the mea-
suring range. Check correspondence between
measuring range and type of sen-
sor.
Check jumpers for temperature
range in DAU.
Faulty configuration. Check configured measuring
range.
Check configured number of tem-
perature elements.
Check the configured position of
the temperature elements.
Wrong average value but individ-
ual values correct. Check the position of the tempera-
ture elements.
Check the level of the product in
the tank.
Incorrect reading
of level Incorrect database constants. Check tank distances in the RTG
configuration.
Hand dip to verify the level.
RTG locked on disturbing echo. Initiate new echo search.
Look for objects in the tank creat-
ing disturbing echoes.
Metrological Seal in write inhibit
