Status Indicating LEDs
Color
Status
FLASHING
Green
The power supply has not been turned on. The PSU
module LED will blink when the subsystem is
connected to a power source but not yet turned on.
Static
Green
The PSU is operating normally and experiencing no
problem.
Static
Red
The PSU has failed and is unable to provide power to
the subsystem.
OFF
The PSU is not turned on. The PSU module LED will
remain off even if the power cable has been plugged in
but the power switch is not turned on.

4.4.10 Cooling Fan LEDs
Each cooling fan LED corresponds to a single fan in the cooling module.
(See
Figure 4-9
) When the LED is on, it indicates the fan has failed. When
the LED is off, it indicates the fan is functioning properly.

CAUTION!
These LEDs indicate individual fan statuses. However, it is not
recommended to replace individual cooling fans. Even with a single fan
failure, the entire fan module should be replaced to reduce the chance of
overheating the subsystem.
