b) Time-controlled operation
• To put the appliance into operation, turn the lower rotary knob (C) to the
right as far as it will go and then back to the requested operating time.
o BGS 1400: 60 minute timer
o BGS 1500: 120 minute timer
• The clock will switch the appliance off automatically after the selected time
has elapsed and you will hear a short ring.
Then the rotary knob (C) will be back in position “OFF”.
NOTE:
The selected time can be adjusted at any time even during operation
by turning the knob to the left or to the right.
Taking out the cooked food
• Open the oven door (do not use the open door as storage place!).
• Take the ready food out of the oven chamber. If you want to take the roasting/baking tray, the grill grid
or the rotisserie spit out of the oven in hot condition, use the included handle or protect your hands
with potholders or a grill glove. Close the oven door.
NOTE for using the grill grid:
The special shape of the insertion levels in the front area prevents the
grid from being pulled too far out of the appliance by mistake.
Remove the grill grid as described above. Overcome the „removal lock“ by slightly lifting or angling and
remove the grill grid.
Breaking up the operation prematurely
• To break up operation prematurely turn the rotary knob for timer setting (C)
to position “OFF“.
Completely switching off the appliance
For switching off the appliance completely turn
• The rotary knob for timer setting to position “OFF”!
• The rotary knob for temperature setting to in position “MIN”!
NOTE: For a safe switch off disconnect the power plug after each use!
